La presente Norma fa parte della serie EN 60068 e riguarda le prove del freddo applicabili a campioni aventi o no dissipazione del calore. Per campioni senza dissipazione di calore le prove Ab ed Ad non presentano differenze sostanziali rispetto all’edizione precedente, mentre è stata aggiunta la prova Ae principalmente per provare apparecchi che devono funzionare operativamente durante la prova, compresi i periodi di condizionamento. Le prove di freddo sono così suddivise: - Ab : Campioni senza dissipazione di calore e variazione graduale della temperatura. - Ad : Campioni con dissipazione di calore e variazione graduale della temperatura. - Ae : Campioni che dissipano calore in ogni parte e variazione graduale della temperatura. Lo scopo della prova del freddo è limitato a determinare la capacità di componenti, apparecchiature o altri manufatti di essere usati, trasportati ed immagazzinati a bassa temperatura. Le prove di freddo coperte dalla presente Norma non garantiscono la capacità dei campioni a sopportare o funzionare in presenza di variazioni di temperatura: per questi aspetti si deve seguire la EN 60068-2-14. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 60068-2-1 (104-3), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 30/11/2028.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
