La presente Norma CEI EN 50400 si applica alle stazioni radio base, operanti nell’intervallo di frequenza 110 MHz - 40 GHz, intese come apparecchiature di radiotrasmissione fisse usate nelle comunicazioni cellulari e/o nelle reti locali senza fili; sono comprese le comunicazioni punto-punto e punto-multipunto integrate nelle suddette reti.
Si tratta di una Norma di base, che definisce i metodi per
dimostrare la conformità ai limiti di base o ai livelli di riferimento relativi all'esposizione della popolazione ai campi elettromagnetici a radio frequenza delle apparecchiature fisse sopra descritte all’atto della loro messa in servizio.
Questa Norma costituisce il riferimento per l’applicazione della corrispondente Norma di famiglia di prodotti CEI EN 50401.
La Norma contiene Deviazioni A per l’Italia, la Germania e la Svizzera, a causa di legislazioni nazionali contrastanti con quella europea.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 50400; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 8725E di marzo 2007, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN 62232:2018-03 (CEI 106-37), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 27-09-2020.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
