La presente Guida è dedicata alla protezione contro tutti i danni causati dalle ESD a tutti i dispositivi elettronici con soglia di sensibilità non inferiore a 100 V lungo la loro vita. Ovvero, dall'inizio della fabbricazione, all'assemblaggio del prodotto fino al termine della vita del prodotto stesso.
Questa specifica tecnica si occupa dei componenti elettronici, delle apparecchiature e delle parti di apparecchiature con soglia di sensibilità pari a 100 V o maggiore ("modello corpo umano - HBM)e come tale tratta della maggior parte dei componenti disponibili sul mercato.
Tale Guida, congiuntamente alla EN 61340-5-1, sostituisce le norme della serie EN 100015.
La EN 100015-1 era stata recepita dal CEI come Norma CEI 47-8 (1998).

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
