La presente Norma si applica alle batterie al piombo con una tensione nominale di 12 V, utilizzate principalmente come fonti di energia per l'avviamento e l'accensione di motori a combustione interna, per l'illuminazione ed anche per le apparecchiature ausiliarie di veicoli a motore a combustione interna. Essa ha lo scopo di specificare le dimensioni principali, la posizione dei terminali positivo e negativo rispetto al sistema di fissaggio, le dimensioni dei terminali conici delle batterie e la marcatura delle polarità.
La presente Norma costituisce la ristampa consolidata, secondo il nuovo progetto di veste editoriale, della Norma pari numero ed edizione (Fascicolo 2207 E); essa incorpora la Variante pubblicata precedentemente in Fascicolo separato (Fascicolo 4035).
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Norma, CEI EN 50342-2:2008-05 (CEI 21-54); tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 01-07-2010.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
