La presente Norma fa parte di una serie completa di pubblicazioni che copre l’intera categoria dell’immunità agli impulsi elettromagnetici nucleari ad alta quota (HEMP), i cui effetti possono disturbare i sistemi di comunicazione, di generazione di energia elettrica, della tecnologia dell’informazione, ecc..
La presente sezione definisce come devono essere specificati i dispositivi di protezione, per i disturbi condotti, proposti per la protezione dagli effetti delle esplosioni nucleari ad alta quota. Essa deve essere utilizzata per l’armonizzazione di specifiche esistenti o future emesse dai costruttori di dispositivi di protezione, dai costruttori di apparecchiature elettroniche, dalle amministrazioni e dagli utilizzatori finali.
La presente sezione tratta delle protezioni utilizzate correntemente per la protezione dai transitori HEMP indotti sul segnale e su linee di segnale o di energia a bassa tensione (tensione nominale fino a 1 kV c.a.).
Le informazioni generali possono inoltre essere applicate alle linee ad alta tensione. Comunque, in questi casi, i requisiti ulteriori per i livelli di protezione di scaricatori esistenti per fulminazione (in particolare per gli scaricatori senza interspazi ad ossidi metallici) sono allo studio.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
