Questa Norma si applica ai cavi per applicazioni navali e offshore con isolamento estruso compatto, conduttore e schermo aventi una delle tensioni nominali compresa tra le seguenti: 3,6/6 (7,2) kV, 6/10 (12) kV, 8,7/15 (17,5) kV, 12/20 (24) kV, 18/30 (36) kV. I cavi sono destinati ad installazioni fisse. I vari tipi di cavi sono riportati nel paragrafo 5.1. I requisiti di costruzione e i metodi di prova sono in linea con quelli indicati nella Norma IEC 60092-350, se non diversamente specificato nella presente Norma. L'obiettivo di questa Norma è quello di normare i cavi la cui sicurezza e affidabilità è garantita quando sono installati in conformità ai requisiti della IEC 60092-352 o della IEC 61892-4, di stabilire i requisiti di costruzione e le caratteristiche di tali cavi che hanno un impatto diretto o indiretto sulla sicurezza e di specificare i metodi di prova per verificare la conformità con tali requisiti. La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI 18-52:2013-07. Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici. ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
