Questa Norma fornisce i requisiti generali per la costruzione e i metodi di prova per la fabbricazione di cavi elettrici di potenza, controllo e strumentazione con conduttori in rame previsti per sistemi elettrici fissi con tensioni fino a 18/30(36) kV comprese a bordo di navi e offshore (mobili e fisse). Il riferimento ai sistemi elettrici fissi comprende quelli soggetti a vibrazioni (dovute al movimento della nave o dell'impianto) o a movimento (dovuto al movimento della nave o dell'impianto) e non quelli destinati a frequenti flessioni. I cavi adatti a flessioni frequenti o continue sono descritti in altre Norme IEC (ad esempio la IEC 60245) e il loro uso è limitato a situazioni che non comportano direttamente l'esposizione all'ambiente marino, ad esempio per utensili portatili ed elettrodomestici. La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI IEC 60092-350:2013-07. Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici. ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
