Questa Norma costituisce come guida alla scelta, all'installazione, all'uso e alla manutenzione di apparecchi per il rilevamento del monossido di carbonio, destinati al funzionamento continuo in installazione fissa in locali domestici, caravan e natanti. Questa norma si rivolge a qualsiasi tipo di ambiente domestico o residenziale, compresi i veicoli per il tempo libero, come le roulotte da turismo e statiche e i camper, e le imbarcazioni da diporto, come ad esempio le chiatte. Alcune roulotte statiche sono utilizzate come abitazioni permanenti; in questi casi è applicabile la Norma EN 50291-1. Per tutti gli altri tipi di roulotte e caravan, si applica la Norma EN 50291-2. La presente pubblicazione si riferisce all'installazione di due tipi di apparecchi: • apparecchi di tipo A, che forniscono un allarme visivo e acustico e un'azione esecutiva sotto forma di segnale di uscita che può essere utilizzato per azionare direttamente o indirettamente una ventilazione o un altro dispositivo ausiliario; • apparecchi di tipo B, che forniscono solo un allarme visivo e acustico. Questo documento esclude gli apparecchi per la rilevazione di gas combustibili (si veda la Norma EN 50244) e per impianti industriali o locali commerciali. Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese, in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici. La Norma sostituisce la CEI EN 50292:2014-05 che rimane applicabile fino al 20-03-2026.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
