La presente Norma si applica alle spine, alle prese fisse, ai connettori (di seguito denominati “accessori”) e ai gruppi di cavi assemblati destinati ad essere utilizzati nei sistemi di ricarica conduttiva dei veicoli elettrici, la cui tensione nominale di esercizio in c.a. non è superiore a 690 V, con frequenza compresa tra 50 Hz e 60 Hz e corrente nominale non superiore a 250 V, e la cui tensione nominale di esercizio in c.c. non è superiore a 1 500 V, con corrente nominale non superiore a 800 A. Tali accessori, inclusi i gruppi di cavi assemblati, devono essere installati esclusivamente da personale tecnico istruito o qualificato. Gli stessi accessori e gruppi di cavi assemblati sono destinati ad essere installati in circuiti come quelli specificati nella serie di Norme CEI EN 61851, con tensioni e frequenze diverse, che possono includere i segnali di comunicazione alimentati a bassissima tensione. La temperatura ambiente alla quale possono operare è compresa tra -30° C e +40° C.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 62196-1:2015-11, che rimane applicabile fino al 09-11-2025.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese, in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
