La presente Norma si applica ai rivelatori a infrarosso passivo, utilizzati quali parti di sistemi di allarme intrusione e rapina installati all’interno degli edifici, e specifica le prestazioni richieste per:
- i gradi di sicurezza da 1 a 4;
- le classi ambientali da I a IV:
- le relative prove.
La Norma in oggetto non contiene prescrizioni per rivelatori destinati ad essere usati all’esterno. È essenziale che il rilevatore rispetti tutti i requisiti fissati per un dato grado di sicurezza. Eventuali funzionalità aggiuntive, rispetto a quelle previste da questa Norma, sono permesse a condizione che non influenzino il corretto funzionamento delle funzioni obbligatorie. Questa Norma non tratta dei collegamenti cablati e dei collegamenti tra i componenti dei sistemi di allarme intrusione e rapina.
La presente edizione include, tra le altre, le seguenti modifiche rispetto all’edizione precedente:
- aggiunta di requisiti;
- prove;
- relativi allegati, al fine di definire le prestazioni dei rilevatori montati a soffitto.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 50131-2-2:2018-05, che rimane applicabile fino al 08-11-2024.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese, in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
