Questa Parte della Norma CEI EN IEC 60754 specifica l'apparato e la procedura per la misurazione della
quantità di alogeni sviluppati durante la combustione di materiali prelevati da cavi elettrici o in fibra ottica. Il
metodo specificato in questo documento è destinato alla misurazione del contenuto di cloro (Cl), bromo
(Br), fluoro (F) e iodio (I), utilizzando la tecnica analitica della cromatografia ionica per l'analisi di una
soluzione acquosa derivante dai gas emessi durante la combustione. La procedura di riscaldamento
(combustione) in questa Parte della CEI EN IEC 60754 è la stessa della CEI EN IEC 60754-2. Il metodo è
destinato a materiali con un contenuto di alogeni individuale non superiore a 10 mg/g. Il metodo specificato
in questo documento è destinato al collaudo di singoli componenti utilizzati nella costruzione di un cavo.
L'uso di questo metodo consente la verifica dei requisiti indicati nelle specifiche dei cavi per i singoli
componenti costruttivi dei cavi stessi. Per motivi di precisione, questo metodo non è raccomandato per
rilevare valori di alogeni inferiori a 0,1 mg/g del campione prelevato.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
