Questa Norma definisce un metodo di misura per le perdite dei trasformatori elettromagnetici e le perdite dei convertitori elettronici in condizioni di standby per lampade alogene e sorgenti luminose LED.
Questa Norma si applica alle unità di controllo progettate per l'uso con alimentazioni in c.c. fino a 1 000 V e/o alimentazioni in c.a. fino a 1 000 V a 50 Hz o 60 Hz. Viene anche definito un metodo per il calcolo dell'efficienza delle unità di alimentazione per lampade alogene e sorgenti luminose LED.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 62442-3:2015-05, che rimane applicabile fino al 07-06-2021.
La presente Norma riporta la traduzione completa della EN IEC 62442-3; la versione inglese è riportata nel fascicolo 16698E di febbraio 2019.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN IEC 62442-3:2022-11 (CEI 34-147), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 16-03-2025. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 62442-3:2024-04 (CEI 34-147) tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 17-03-2025

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.
