La presente Norma specifica la terminologia, i simboli, i metodi di prova e altre informazioni necessarie per assicurare la coerenza delle specifiche particolari per gli interruttori elettromeccanici destinati ad essere utilizzati nelle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche. La Norma intende descrivere i metodi di valutazione degli interruttori elettromeccanici al fine di chiarirne meglio le loro capacità e le loro caratteristiche tecniche. Gli interruttori trattati dalla presente Norma sono dispositivi che aprono, chiudono o commutano un circuito elettrico mediante il movimento meccanico delle loro parti mobili conduttrici (contatti) e funzionanti alla tensione nominale massima di 480 V e corrente nominale massima di 63 A. La presente Norma non include gli interruttori a tastiera utilizzati nei sistemi informatici; viceversa gli interruttori elettromeccanici a chiave sono inclusi nel suo campo di applicazione.
La presente Norma supera completamente la Norma CEI EN 61020-1:2016-03 che rimane applicabile fino al 20-02-2022 e rispetto alla quale costituisce una revisione di carattere tecnico/editoriale.

Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
