La Norma si applica alla sicurezza ed alle prestazioni essenziali di elettroencefalografi utilizzati in un ambiente clinico (ad esempio, l'ospedale, ambulatori medici, ecc.). Questa Norma non si applica ai requisiti previsti per altre apparecchiature utilizzate in elettroencefalografia. L'obiettivo di questa edizione è quello di portare questa Norma particolare ad allinearsi alla terza edizione della Norma generale EN 60601-1 attraverso riformattazione e modifiche tecniche.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60601-2-26:2004-04, che rimane applicabile fino al 14-04-2018.
La presente Norma riporta la traduzione completa della EN 60601-2-26; la versione inglese è riportata nel fascicolo 14540E di gennaio 2016.
Norma, CEI EN IEC 80601-2-26:2020-09 (CEI 62-266); CEI EN IEC 80601-2-26:2021-09 (CEI 62-266), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 03-04-2023.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
