La sicurezza funzionale è quella parte della sicurezza globale delle apparecchiature e dei sistemi che dipende dal corretto funzionamento dei sistemi elettrici implicati con la sicurezza.
La Norma che fornisce i criteri di base per la sicurezza funzionale è la Norma CEI EN 61508, che stabilisce i dettami generali e che, tra le altre cose, prescrive il modo di affrontare la problematica della compatibilità elettromagnetica per questi aspetti.
Questa Parte della Norma CEI EN 61326 si applica a tutte le apparecchiature che rientrano nello scopo della Norma CEI EN 61326-1, limitatamente ai soli sistemi ed apparecchi aventi lo scopo di eseguire funzioni di sicurezza per applicazioni industriali con SIL 1-3 come definito nella Norma CEI EN EN 61508.
L'ambiente elettromagnetico individuato in questa Norma di prodotto è quello industriale, interno ed esterno, come descritto nella Norma CEI EN 61000-6-2 ovvero all’articolo 3.8 della Norma CEI EN 61326-1.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 61326-3-1:2011-04, che rimane applicabile fino al 20-06-2020.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
