Questa Norma, da utilizzare congiuntamente alla CEI EN 60269-1:2009-10, completa o modifica i corrispondenti articoli/paragrafi della Parte 1. Si applica alle cartucce per le apparecchiature contenenti dispositivi a semiconduttore per circuiti le cui tensioni nominali non sono superiori a 1 000 V in corrente alternata o 1 500 V in corrente continua e, quando applicabili, per circuiti le cui tensioni nominali sono più elevate. La presente Norma specifica le caratteristiche delle cartucce per semiconduttori in modo tale che esse siano sostituite con altre aventi le stesse caratteristiche, purché presentino le stesse dimensioni.
Le cartucce utilizzate per la protezione dei dispositivi a semiconduttore devono essere conformi a tutte le prescrizioni della Norma CEI EN 60269-1, se non diversamente specificato. Le modifiche tecniche più significative di questa nuova edizione rispetto alla precedente sono:
- l'introduzione delle cartucce per inverter a tensione impressa, compresi i requisiti di prova;
- le prove sulle caratteristiche di funzionamento in corrente alternata, per mezzo delle prove sul potere di interruzione;
- l'aggiornamento degli esempi di cartucce normalizzate per la protezione di dispositivi a semiconduttore.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60269-4:2009-10.

La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 60269-4; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 10825E di novembre 2010, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata e, in aggiunta, la Modifica EN 60269-4/A1:2012-07..

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
