Questa Norma si applica alle unità e alle batterie di condensatori previste per essere utilizzate, in particolare, per il rifasamento di impianti di energia in corrente alternata con tensione nominale superiore
a 1 000 V e frequenza compresa tra 15 Hz e 60 Hz. Essa si applica anche ai condensatori destinati ad essere utilizzati nei circuiti di filtro di potenza. L'oggetto di questa Parte della EN/IEC 60871 è:
- fissare regole uniformi riguardanti le prestazioni e i valori nominali delle unità e delle batterie e le prove delle unità;
- fissare precise regole di sicurezza;
- fornire una guida per l'installazione e l'esercizio.
Questa nuova edizione introduce le seguenti modifiche tecniche significative rispetto all'edizione precedente:
- la prova di tenuta alle sovratensioni è stata tolta dalla EN/IEC 60871-2 e inserita in questa Norma;
- sono stati modificati i gruppi dei valori normali della tensione massima per gli impianti;
- per installazioni situate ad altitudini superiori a 1 000 m è stato introdotto un fattore di correzione per tutte le prescrizioni relative all'isolamento;
- sono state definite nuove tabelle relative all'isolamento.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60871-1:2006-07, che rimane applicabile fino al 26-06-2017.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 60871-1; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 14089E di aprile 2015, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.
