La presente Norma è la revisione della precedente edizione denominata CEI 0-15:2006-04. La nuova edizione riguarda oltre che le cabine elettriche MT/BT anche le cabine MT/MT dei clienti/utenti finali.
La nuova edizione della Norma, essendo strettamente correlata alla Norma CEI 11-27 "Lavori su impianti elettrici" fa parte integrante del corpo delle norme di pertinenza del Comitato Tecnico 78 che ha provveduto alla preparazione della succitata CEI 11-27.
La presente Norma si applica a tutti gli impianti elettrici riguardanti le cabine elettriche MT/MT e MT/BT, siano essi dedicati alla produzione di energia elettrica sia di tipo esclusivamente passivo. Essa, inoltre, riguarda anche gli impianti di produzione di energia elettrica in Bassa Tensione facenti parte di utenze connesse alla rete di Media Tensione.
Lo scopo della presente Norma è quello di proporre un metodo manutentivo basato sull'individuazione di tutti i componenti da manutenere che permettono, ai circuiti elettrici aventi una specifica funzione, di svolgere il loro compito in modo sicuro durante la loro durata di vita.
La nuova edizione, inoltre, presenta una successione di schede di manutenzione organizzate sul metodo proposto ed applicato a una ipotetica cabina in modo da rappresentare la maggior parte dei componenti che figurano negli impianti elettrici reali, fissandone gli interventi e i relativi esiti nonché le periodicità manutentive.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.
