Questa Parte della serie di Norme EN 50518 specifica i requisiti minimi per la progettazione e la costruzione degli edifici dove vengono monitorati ed analizzati i segnali generati da uno o più sistemi di allarme intrusione e rapina come parte integrante di un più ampio processo di gestione della sicurezza, intesa sia in termini di safety che di security (centri di monitoraggio e di ricezione allarme).
I requisiti si applicano a siti remoti, dove numerosi sistemi inviano segnalazioni ad una molteplicità di centri di ricezione dell'allarme (ARC), così come a specifici siti, che tengono sotto monitoraggio ed elaborano allarmi generati da uno o più sistemi di allarme, installati all'interno del perimetro di un sito specifico.
La presente Norma deve essere utilizzata congiuntamente alle Norme EN 50518-2 e EN 50518-3.
La presente Norma, unitamente alla CEI UNI EN 50518-2:2014-04 e alla CEI UNI EN 50518-3:2014-04, sostituisce la UNI 11068:2005; inoltre sostituisce la CEI EN 50518-1:2013-02 che rimane applicabile fino al 07-10-2016.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 50518-1; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 13470E di aprile 2014, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Norma, CEI EN 50518:2019-11 (CEI 79-111); CEI UNI EN 50518:2021-06 (CEI 79-111), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 06-02-2022.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
