I fusibili utilizzati da persone qualificate sono generalmente previsti per essere utilizzati in installazioni in cui le cartucce sono accessibili soltanto da persone qualificate e possono essere da esse sostituite.
I fusibili utilizzati da persone qualificate in accordo ai seguenti sistemi di fusibili sono anche conformi ai requisiti dei corrispondenti paragrafi della IEC 60269-1, se non diversamente definito in questa Norma.
Questa Norma è divisa in sistemi di fusibili, ciascuno dei quali riguarda uno specifico esempio di fusibili normalizzati previsti per essere utilizzati da persone qualificate:
- sistema di fusibili di tipo A: fusibili con cartucce con contatti a coltello (sistema di fusibili NH);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo B: fusibili con cartucce a percussore con contatti a coltello (sistema di fusibili NH);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo C: fusibili con cartucce per profilati (sistema di fusibili NH);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo D: basi per montaggio su sbarra (sistema di fusibili NH);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo E: fusibili con cartucce per connessioni a bullone (sistema di fusibili a bullone BS);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo F: fusibili con cartucce a capsule cilindriche (sistema di fusibili a capsule cilindriche NF);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo G: fusibili con cartucce a lamelle disassate (sistema di fusibili ad inserimento elastico BS);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo H: fusibili con cartucce con caratteristiche "gD" e "gN" (fusibili di Classe J e L ritardati e non ritardati);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo I: cartucce gU con contatti di serraggio a cuneo;
- sistema di fusibili di tipo J: fusibili con cartucce con caratteristiche "gD classe CC" e "gN classe CC" (tipi di fusibili temporizzati o non temporizzati di classe CC);
- sistema di fusibili di tipo K: cartucce gK con contatti a coltello per connessioni a bullone - Cartucce per correnti nominali elevate da 1 250 A a 4 800 A (cartucce master).
Le modifiche più significative di questa edizione rispetto alla precedente CEI 32-12:2013-02, che rimane applicabile fino al 15-08-2016, riguardano la modifica dei valori di potenza dissipata delle cartucce NH aM e l'introduzione delle dimensioni delle cartucce NH per i sistemi di fusibili A e B e l'aggiunta del nuovo sistema di fusibili K.
La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alle Norme CEI EN 60269-1:2009-10 e alla CEI EN 60269-1/A1:2010-07.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
