Questa Norma specifica un metodo di prova da applicare ad un prodotto finito. Questo metodo è previsto per simulare gli effetti di una sollecitazione termica provocata da una sorgente riscaldata elettricamente per riprodurre un pericolo di incendio. Questo metodo di prova è utilizzato per verificare che, in condizioni di prova definite, un prodotto finito, esposto ad una sorgente riscaldata elettricamente, abbia una possibilità limitata di incendiarsi o, nel caso si incendiasse, una limitata capacità di propagazione della fiamma. Tuttavia, l'analisi del pericolo di incendio, gli aspetti relativi all'infiammabilità e la propagazione della fiamma ad altri prodotti non sono trattati da questa Norma.
La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alla Norma EN 60695-2-10.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60695-2-11:2001-08, che rimane applicabile fino al 13-03-2017.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN IEC 60695-2-11:2022-09 (CEI 89-13), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 02-12-2024. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 60695-2-11: 2023-10 tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 02-12-2024

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.
