La presente Norma fa parte della serie di Norme EN/IEC 61000 che riguarda la limitazione delle fluttuazioni di tensione e del flicker introdotti sui sistemi pubblici di alimentazione in bassa tensione. Definisce i limiti di variazioni di tensione che possono essere prodotte da una apparecchiatura provata in specifiche condizioni e fornisce la guida sui metodi di verifica. È applicabile ad apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche che hanno una corrente in ingresso fino a ed inclusi 16 A per fase e previste per essere liberamente collegate a sistemi di distribuzione pubblica di bassa tensione tra 220 V e 250 V a 50 Hz tra fase e neutro.
Le apparecchiature che, provate secondo quanto definito in 6.4, non soddisfano i requisiti di questa Norma non possono essere dichiarate conformi e possono essere valutate o riprovate secondo i criteri della Norma EN/IEC 61000-3-11, che prescrive le modalità di valutazione di apparecchiature con corrente nominale inferiore o uguale a 75 A per fase e soggette ad allacciamento sotto condizione.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 61000-3-3:2009-09, che rimane applicabile fino al 18-06-2016.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 61000-3-3; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 13414E di marzo 2014, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
