Questa Parte della serie EN/IEC 60728 descrive i requisiti di sicurezza applicabili agli impianti per la ricezione e la distribuzione via cavo dei segnali televisivi e sonori.
Questa Norma riguarda solo gli aspetti di sicurezza del sistema e non intende definire i requisiti di protezione degli apparati.
Tra le varie novità di questa terza edizione si segnala la completa riscrittura dell'Art. 11 relativo alla protezione contro i fulmini e le sovratensione resasi necessaria per allineare i contenuti alle previsioni ed ai requisiti fissati dalle norme della serie EN/IEC 62305 "Protezione contro i fulmini".
Questa Parte della serie EN/IEC 60728 descrive i requisiti di sicurezza applicabili agli impianti per la ricezione e la distribuzione via cavo dei segnali televisivi e sonori.
Questa Norma introduce le seguenti modifiche tecniche significative rispetto all’edizione precedente:
- sono stati aggiunti nuovi termini e nuove definizioni;
- sono state riviste le figure riguardanti i dettagli relativi ai collegamenti equipotenziali e dei collegamenti all'impianto di terra;
- l'art. 11 "Protezione contro le sovratensioni" è stato completamente rivisto, allineandolo alle prescrizioni della serie EN 62305 "Protezione contro i fulmini".
Sono stati inoltre aggiunti due nuovi allegati informativi: Allegato A "Impedenza dell'anello di terra" e Allegato C " Esempi di calcolo del rischio dovuto al fulmine".
La presente Norma sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60728-11:2005-09.
La presente Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto trova diffusione in un ambito tecnico-scientifico di elevata specializzazione.

La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN 60728-11:2017-11 (CEI 100-126); tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 26-05-2020.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
