La presente Norma specifica le prescrizioni per l'apparecchiatura con involucro metallico (GIS) il cui isolamento è realizzato, almeno parzialmente, per mezzo di gas isolante diverso dall'aria a pressione atmosferica, prevista per corrente alternata e tensione nominale superiore a 52 kV, per installazione all'interno e all'esterno e per frequenze di servizio inferiori e uguali a 60 Hz. L'apparecchiatura oggetto della presente Norma è costituita da singoli elementi destinati a essere collegati direttamente fra loro e in grado di funzionare solamente sotto questa forma. La presente Norma, rispetto all'edizione precedente, adotta la struttura e il contenuto della EN 62271-1, è armonizzata con la Norma IEEE C37.122, aggiunge gli Allegati F e G. La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 62271-203:2006-07, che rimane applicabile fino al 12-10-2014. La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alla Norma CEI EN 62271-1:2010-02. La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 62271-203; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 12676E di gennaio 2013, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata. .La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN IEC 62271-203:2023-01 (CEI 17-15); tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 04-07-2025.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
