La serie EN 50463 tratta i requisiti per la progettazione, produzione e verifica di conformità di un Sistema di Misura dell'Energia consumata e resa, misurata al "Punto di Consumo" relativo al punto di contatto alla catenaria del veicolo su cui è imbarcato.
La presente Norma (Parte 1 della serie) definisce i requisiti generali del Sistema di Misura nella sua globalità a partire dal punto di contatto alla catenaria sino alla trasmissione del "pacchetto dati" contenente il valore dell'energia misurata nel Periodo di Riferimento e i dati ad esso correlati, quali ad esempio: data, ora, localizzazione, etc.
La Norma identifica sia le caratteristiche riguardanti la misura dell'energia, sia i requisiti RAMS da verificare a livello di sistema.
La Norma riporta le definizioni generali per l'intera serie lasciando a ciascuna delle altre quattro parti quelle di pertinenza.
La presente Norma sostituisce parzialmente la Norma CEI EN 50463:2008-02.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN 50463-1:2018-04 (CEI 9-153), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 06-10-2020.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
