La presente Norma definisce i limiti per le correnti armoniche iniettate dalle apparecchiature con correnti nominali di ingresso superiori a 16 A e inferiori o uguali a 75 A per fase nelle reti di distribuzione pubblica a bassa tensione a 50 o 60 Hz con tensione nominale sino a 240 V, monofase, due o tre conduttori, oppure con tensione nominale sino a 690 V, trifase, tre o quattro conduttori.
Nel dettaglio, la norma stabilisce i requisiti e i limiti di emissione per le apparecchiature, nonché i metodi di prova e i metodi per effettuare le simulazioni, perché la conformità alla presente Norma può anche essere determinata da simulazioni opportunamente validate.
La presente norma non si applica ad apparecchiature connesse ad una rete privata che sia collegata a reti a media o alta tensione.
I limiti di corrente armonica per apparecchiature con correnti nominali di ingresso inferiori o uguali a 16 A per fase sono definiti dalla EN/IEC 61000-3-2, ma nel caso di apparecchiature professionali che non rispettino i limiti della EN/IEC 61000-3-2 è possibile applicare i limiti della presente Norma a determinate condizioni descritte nell'allegato C.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 61000-3-12:2006-08, che rimane applicabile fino al 16-06-2014.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
