La presente Norma specifica i requisiti costruttivi e le prove per le apparecchiature a sicurezza intrinseca destinate ad essere utilizzate in atmosfera esplosiva e per le apparecchiature associate destinate al collegamento a circuiti a sicurezza intrinseca che entrano in tale atmosfera esplosiva. Questo tipo di protezione si applica alle apparecchiature elettriche nelle quali i circuiti elettrici stessi non sono nelle condizioni di provocare un'esplosione nell'atmosfera esplosiva circostante. La Norma è applicabile anche alle apparecchiature elettriche o parti di esse situate al di fuori dell'atmosfera esplosiva o protette da un altro tipo di protezione di cui nella Norma EN/IEC 60079-0. La presente Norma integra e modifica le prescrizioni generali della Norma EN/IEC 60079-0 e sostituisce le Norme CEI EN 60079-11:2009-02 e CEI EN 61241-11:2010-11 che rimangono applicabili fino al 04-08-2014 e parzialmente la Norma CEI EN 60079-27:2010-04. La presente Norma soddisfa i requisiti essenziali della direttiva 94/9/EC. Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici. La presente Norma recepisce il testo originale inglese della Pubblicazione IEC. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 60079-11 (31-78), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 31/12/2027.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
