Questa Norma fornisce delle linee guida generali, per i Comitati IEC, su come ridurre a livelli accettabili il rischio di incendio e i potenziali effetti degli incendi che coinvolgono i prodotti elettrotecnici. Essa è anche utilizzata come guida per le altre pubblicazioni della serie EN/IEC 60695 per la valutazione dei rischi da incendio dei prodotti elettrotecnici e per sviluppare i metodi di prova relativi all'incendio.
La Norma tratta diversi tipi di prove, in particolare prove qualitative e quantitative e descrive inoltre le condizioni nelle quali i Comitati IEC di prodotto mantengono o sviluppano prove qualitative.
La presente Norma insieme alla CEI EN 60695-1-11:2012-02 sostituisce la CEI EN 60695-1-1:2000-10 che rimane applicabile fino al 01-10-2013.
La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alla Norma EN 60695-1-11.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN 60695-1-10:2017-10 (CEI 89-30), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 23-12-2019.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
