La Norma fa parte della serie EN/IEC 60068 che si occupa delle prove ambientali ed in particolare questa tratta della Prova N - Cambio di temperatura. Viene definito un metodo di prova per determinare la capacità di componenti, apparecchiature o prodotti a sopportare rapidi cambi della temperatura ambiente.
I tempi di esposizione adeguati dipendono dalla natura dell’oggetto in prova.
In particolare nella norma vengono descritti tre tipi di prova:
- Prova Na : Cambio rapido di temperatura con tempo di trasferimento prestabilito.
- Prova Nb : Cambio di temperatura con velocità di variazione specificata
- Prova Nc : Cambio rapido di temperatura - Metodo dei due bagni.
La presente Norma sostituisce la Norma CEI EN 60068-2-14:2000-10 che rimane applicabile fino al 01-07-2012 e la Norma CEI EN 60068-2-33:2000-10 che rimane applicabile fino al 01-07-2012.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 60068-2-14; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 10194E di febbraio 2010, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 60068-2-14:2024-01 tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 31-08-2026

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
