La presente Norma fa parte della serie EN/IEC 60335 che riguarda la sicurezza degli apparecchi elettrici d'uso domestico e similare ed in particolare si occupa della sicurezza elettrica degli aspirapolvere.
Essa si applica agli aspirapolvere elettrici a secco ed agli apparecchi per pulizia ad aspirazione d'acqua per applicazioni domestiche e simili.
Si applica anche agli aspirapolvere per la pulizia degli animali (con tensione nominale non superiore a 250 V), a quelli centralizzati ed a quelli con alimentazione a batterie.
La Norma copre anche gli accessori per pulizia motorizzati ed i tubi flessibili associati agli apparecchi.
La Norma non si applica invece agli apparecchi destinati ad esclusivo uso industriale ed a quelli da usare in locali con atmosfere corrosive o esplosive (polveri, vapori, gas).
La Norma deve essere usata congiuntamente alla CEI EN 60335-1:2008-07.
Essa è allineata ai requisiti della Direttiva Bassa Tensione (2006/95/EC) ed a quelli della Direttiva Macchine.
La Norma sostituisce la Norma CEI EN 60335-2-2:2004-01 che rimane applicabile fino al 01-02-2015. La presente Norma è annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Edizione CEI EN IEC 60335-2-2:2024-03 (CEI 61-164), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 10-11-2026

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
