La presente Norma si applica ai morsetti a fusibile con unità di connessione a vite o senza vite per la connessione di conduttori in rame rigidi o flessibili e per il ricevimento di cartucce fusibili in accordo con la Norma EN/IEC 60127-2, destinati essenzialmente ad impieghi industriali o similari in circuiti con tensione nominale non superiore a 1 000 V c.a. sino a 1 000 Hz o 1 500 V c.c., ed aventi un potere massimo di interruzione in cortocircuito pari a 1 500 A.
Essa specifica le prescrizioni di sicurezza ed i metodi di prova per le caratteristiche meccaniche, elettriche e termiche dei morsetti a fusibile, al fine di garantire la compatibilità tra morsetti e cartucce fusibili normalizzate.
Le principali modifiche tecniche rispetto alla precedente edizione riguardano le prescrizioni relative alle distanze d'isolamento in aria e superficiali, il miglioramento delle prescrizioni per la prova di resistenza meccanica delle unità di connessione, il miglioramento e il riferimento alla Tabella 4 della EN/IEC 60947-1 delle prescrizioni per le coppie di serraggio per le prove.
La presente Norma viene utilizzata congiuntamente alle Norme EN 60947-1 e EN 60947-7-1
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 60947-7-3:2004-02, che rimane applicabile fino al 01-09-2012.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.
