La presente Norma si applica agli interruttori a corrente alternata per tensioni superiori a 1 000 V alle frequenze di 50 Hz e 60 Hz previsti per la manovra di correnti induttive con o senza potere di interruzione di cortocircuito. La Norma si applica a interruttori in accordo con la CEI 17-1, impiegati per la manovra di correnti di motori ad alta tensione e di correnti di reattori in derivazione, ed anche a contattori ad alta tensione impiegati per la manovra di motori ad alta tensione.
Le variazioni principali rispetto alla prima edizione, di cui la presente Norma costituisce una revisione editoriale, sono costituite dai riferimenti alla CEI EN 62271-1 in sostituzione della CEI EN 60694.
La presente Norma è da utilizzarsi congiuntamente alle Norme CEI EN 62271-1:2010-02 e CEI EN 62271-100:2010-09.
La Norma in oggetto sostituisce completamente la Norma CEI EN 62271-110:2006-05, che rimane applicabile fino al 01-04-2012.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 62271-110; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 10683E di settembre 2010, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova edizione, CEI EN 62271-110:2013-05 (CEI 17-95), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 1-11-2015.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices
