La Norma si riferisce alla sicurezza elettrica e alle prestazioni essenziali relative ai sistemi di allarme negli apparecchi e sistemi elettromedicali e fornisce una guida al corretto utilizzo di questi. Essa definisce diverse categorie di allarme in base al grado di urgenza, priorità, relativi segnali di allarme e stati di controllo correlati. Fornisce anche indicazioni per tutti i sistemi di allarme prevedibili per gli apparecchi elettromedicali. Include inoltre le prescrizioni per i sistemi di allarme, divenuti di uso sempre più comune, che prevedono stati di inattivazione di segnali di allarme "Acceso" o "Spento" per i quali si è reso necessario mettere a punto apposite procedure di prova.
Rispetto all’edizione precedente, essa è stata strutturalmente allineata con la nuova edizione della CEI EN 60601-1:2007.
La principale modifica tecnica è contenuta nell’art. 4 in cui si prescrive di applicare il processo di gestione del rischio, come indicato nella CEI EN 60601-1:2007.
La presente Norma riporta il testo in inglese e italiano della EN 60601-1-8; rispetto al precedente fascicolo n. 9100E di novembre 2007, essa contiene la traduzione completa della EN sopra indicata.

ICS

International Classification for Standards (ICS) is an international classification system for technical standards.

The ICS is a hierarchical classification organized on three levels.

Level 1 covers the main fields of activity in standardization, e.g. road vehicle engineering, agriculture, metallurgy.

Each field has a two-digit notation, e.g.

  43    Road Vehicle Engineering

The main fields are subdivided into groups (level 2). The notation of a group consists of the field notation and a three-digit group number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040    Road vehicle systems

Some groups are further divided into sub-groups (level 3). The notation of a sub-group consists of the group notation and a two-digit number, separated by a point, e.g.

  43.040.20 Lighting, signaling and warning devices

Search also in the summary/description of the standard
